This morning, I was reminded of a quote by C. J. Walker, “There is no royal flower-strewn path to success. And if there is, I have not found it, for if I have accomplished anything in life it is because I was willing to work hard.” To all of those who serve in ministry either full-time or bi-vocationally I want to give you a shout out…you deserve it because you get up day after day and face the unique challenges of ministry without complaint…and often without verbal affirmation and appreciation by others. So today I want to thank you for your dedication to ministry whether you are a Lead Pastor in the pulpit, a Sunday School teacher in the classroom or a techie serving in media ministry. Don’t ever forget that while ministry is not easy, it is rewarding!
